Guru looks in the mirror....
...and sees my friends list staring back.
I'm not exactly the longest serving member here on guildwarsguru but i was just glancing at the online members list and there are only a handful who i remember seeing several months back.
There are a few loyal and lifeless folks (OK, maybe that's just me) and there are those who browse around for a while but it's basically just a bigger version of my friends list.
Offline, offline, offline.
Some folks i really miss, even though i may not exactly be friends with them. Some people around here have a really nice character to them which makes them stand out above the crowd with their jokes, comments, intelligence, helpfulness and "all-round general niceness".
Come back and say hello folks!

I agree, I miss some of my old friends. Especially, now since they're offline almost 24/7, or not on boards/ingame at all. I know I'm definitely not the longest tenured here, but I was a "Forum hider" long before I became a member with an opinionated story. =)

I know exactly how you feel. Many people stopped posting once the school year started though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

probably.
a lot of the people on my friends list no longer log on. the members of my first guild, The Supers, dissapeared not too long after i joined it...about 4-5 weeks after.
i still mourn for The Supers...they were like an online family to me.

I'm not really playing GW anymore, but I've made a home for myself here in the OT forums. I don't know what I'd do without my daily dose of absurdity that I get here.

I had one like that. Except we still talk and stuff. He used to be like my bes friend for PvE... but I lost him to a hardcore PvP (HoH) guild. He almost has his Tiger, while I seethe with jealousy staring at my 7 Fame -> Rank 0. LOL.
A lot of my friends have left GW... and my guild kind of got torn apart by some events. It's still (mostly) together but won't be the same ever again.

I had a friend like that. She was cool. We lost touch and then randomly found each other again in a chatroom neither of us ever went to. I also found a cousin I lost touch with through a chain e-mail
You never know, you might find your friend again.

I've been around here for a while...I've just been in hiding...My fiance kinda had an influence on me to use the forums when he put up his auctions and such...So I'd sign on every now and again to bid on something in his auction...Then I just kinda found stuff and took it from there....

Two people who are some of the most interesting in GW
I've been here since July and made a home here as my place to go for GW stuff and talk as well as our guild forums.
My hope is that the guru posters lighten up a bit, it can get a bit stuffy sometimes. Too many people like to reply with the rules and what you should and shouldn't do instead of letting the mods do that and just enjoying the forums. You want to tell people what to do, be a mod!

Thank you....but it is DOOD! Guys are a dime a dozen.
hehehe!
Oh...and PieXags is one of the brightest young minds I have seen in a long time....He should go far in life! I have to drink a couple of Ensures (Old People Drinks) just to keep up with him.
EDIT: Arturo02 is no slouch either. He even developed his own comic!

We had to try ensures during a lecture we had once.... uggh. Here's to hoping I never ever have any bowel problems that force me on that stuff.
